Born and Raised in Brooklyn...

I was born and raised in Brooklyn. Went to Coney Island and Brighton Beach all the time. But "the guys" and me and some of my friends would venture to Palisades Park every now and then. It was magical.

However, years before that, I got to know Cousin Brucie through a mutual friend. He lived in Brooklyn also on Ocean Parkway in one of those magnificent buildings with the curved driveway in the front. Anyway, he had a black caddy and took us several times to Palisades Park when he hosted the concerts on the weekends. It was fantastic to say the least. We met Bobby Rydell, Bobby Highland, Fabian, Frankie Avalon and so many others I can't even remember. It was all such great fun.
