I Got My Musical Start at Palisades

I got my musical start at Palisades Park back in '66 when we used to perform at the Battle of the Bands contests. We won with a band called The Elements and were able to record two of Gladys Shelleys' songs on Spiral records. A side Cleo and B side Sun Fun Queen. We also opened for the Young Rascals there and The Exciters and did many shows at the band shell with the WMCA good guys. I feel like I grew up at Palisades with many many days and nights just being there and enjoying my young life.

Thanks for having this website to bring back to me all the great and fun times which are long gone but for the memories....
