Every Year Around March I Get a Little Sad

Hi...just saw your site...its great...but doesn't seem to be too many people
in the forums who actually worked there...I had great memories and still
every year around March I get a little sad and then I remember why. The park is not opening, I still have my employee admission card (green) .

I worked there from 1968 until it closed in 1971. i remember the last day.
There were rumors that the park was closing for good. It was announced on
the last day in Sept 1971. I worked at the Skilo (bingo), Fascination (both
next to the cyclone and the Greyhound race. They were all owned by the same guy...can't remember his name. Ricky and Randy were the major managers. I believe after it closed they went down to Lucky Leos Skilo (bingo) in Seaside Heights. Worked with a lot of great kids like myself. Always wonder where they are now. Used to eat at Joes and Callahans all the time. At night we always missed the bus to North Bergen and walked to the White Castle and then got the #1 bus home.... geez I could go on forever...
