The Sounds and Smells and the Laughter

Thank you for the great memories. My family lived in Bloomfield New Jersey
and we were lucky enough to go to the park at least twice a month. I can close my eyes and be right back there again, the sounds and smells and the laughter will never be forgotten.

Palisades was different than any other park I could never put my finger on it but you never left there with a bad feeling, I remember the ride home and my mom would always say did you all have a good time? The one thing that always stuck in my mind was the caterpillar ride, I remember seeing it opening and my Mom and Dad were kissing, my brother and sister and I teased them all the way home. There are so many good memories I really miss those days, the kids today should have it so good. I now live in Florida and Disney is 20 minutes from me as big and beautiful as it is you just do not get the same feeling. We were so lucky back then to have really 3 great parks to go to Olympic park, Palisades and of course Coney Island and believe me we use to hit them all.

Keep up the great work. I'm now going to make some french fries with vinegar.

Mike
