Fond Memories

Dad's Promise 

Great site. I have such great memories going there with my mom and dad and brothers. My mom passed away in 1967 but I can clearly remember going in the pool with her. The fun house... where I was so afraid of the moving floor. My dad let me go on the roller coaster too. After my mom passed, my dad promised to quit smoking, he made a deal that if he smoked he would have to take us kids (4) to Palisades Park. Well lets just say we went a lot. He did end up quitting and we still got to go. I remember the mirrors in the fun house, I wasn't allowed to go into the ghost ride (had bad nightmares after 1 visit). I remember bringing home goldfish all the time.
