If
I could turn back time...
Hi Vince, I always tell my kids - "If I could turn back time, I'd take you to Palisades Amusement Park for the weekend." Even today with the big amusement park rides, I thing my kids would love to explore PAP in it's heyday. The park had charm, personality, charisma, great food, entertainment and great people working the stands - plus that salt water pool. I lived 4 block away on the Fort Lee/Cliffside Park border. If there was a Patron Saint for amusement parks, you get the nomination hands down. I wish that I'd have gone many more times. Richard J. Antoniotti |
