Fond Memories

What a wonderful place!

I just found your site and absolutely loved it! As I searched the site, I became 10 years old again. As for my memories:

My mom and dad took my brother and I there quite often as we lived in Jersey City. I loved going to the Park to see my Mother go on the only two rides she would ever go on: the old fashion cars and the scooter boats. My mom didn't have a license but those cars allowed her to drive! I was much older before I realized the cars had a rod down the center of the track that didn't allow the driver to stray off the course! Palisades Park holds a special place in my heart........what a wonderful place.
