Engaged on the Ferris Wheel

I am probably one of the few women in America who became engaged atop the Ferris wheel at Palisades Park. When the wheel stopped at the very top, Chuck Garbinski put a diamond ring on my finger one Saturday night in August a long time ago. The engagement didn't lead to marriage, but I cherish the memory of a sparkling night filled with the magic of Palisades Park.
