So Many Memories...

Vince,

I am so happy to see your site and am really enjoying it. I grew up across the street from the back entrance to the park on the corner of Bluff Rd and Rt. 5 and was still living there when it closed. I have so many memories of the park it would be hard to list them all:

The traffic cop standing outside our driveway, coming in to use our bathroom or to get a cool drink.

Trying to draw the two ducks that had the gold stars on the bottom in the arcade. Never did get them.........

Falling in the water trap on the 17th hole of the miniature golf course trying to get my ball back after it fell off the bridge.

Being unable to steer the boat straight on the boat ride and being rescued by my father.

Getting the free season pass that used to be given to the parks neighbors. I still have them.

Driving past the 125th St. Ferry sign on the side of a Ridgefield building off the Broad Ave exit of Rt 46 and watching it slowly fade away over the years. Like the memories.

What an incredible place!!
