Fond Memories
Ok kids. We're Going to the Park!
Hi Vin,
I don't know what made me think of Palisades Park.
Tonight I Googled and found your site. Thank You. I lived in Little Ferry
and remember my father coming home from work on his pay day. My sister,
brother , and I waited anxiously, would he say it. Then at least once a
month, my mother would say "Ok kids, we're going to the park." The short
drive there took too long. We would stay until closing. The fries was what I
always wanted. Then off to the rides. My first was always the boats. My
sister loved the carousel and my brother who was very young went to
Kiddieland. People today really don't know what they missed.
