Fond Memories
The Times of Our Lives
First of all, I want to say that this is the best
site around. My name is Rockey from Paramus NJ. I had the best times at
the park. I remember the first time my dad took the family, and I wanted
to go on the Cyclone with him. He didn't think I was old enough, but the
guy said I was tall enough. Remember the sign that said if you were as
tall as the kid on the picture on the stand , you could go on the ride.
Well, I got on, and when we started up that first climb, and looked over
the freakin' cliff's. I wanted to get off. I was so freakin' scared.
After it was over, I told my sisters that it was great. Didn't tell them
how I almost died on the ride.
As years went by, and as I got older, we went probably
once a year. I would go on the Cyclone every time. Finally, as a teenager, I
was able to go on my own with my friends. We had the times of our lives
there. There was not a better time to grow up as a kid. The 60's were the
best of times to us. My friends and I still talk about those good old days
at the park, and I hold those times in my heart. Visiting this site is like
a ride back in time.. Thanks for the memories Vince..
