Grew Up 2 Doors Down From Palisades

I grew up 2 doors from Palisades Park at 738 Palisades Avenue. I lived there from 1962 to 1968. I can still hear the buzzing of those kiddy rides I used to hear out my bedroom window at night, and the screams from the roller coaster. I had a great view of the coaster from my bedroom window, or at least that's the way I remember it. My Aunt worked in the offices at the Park in a trailer, and I used to get to go with her once in a while. My Uncle ( A Fort Lee Cop) would take me on as many rides as I wanted. I was only 7 when we moved from Cliffside Park, but Palisades amusement Park and the memories, will always be with me.

If you have any pictures that might include my old house, 738 Palisades Avenue, which was just two doors down from the park, I would love to see them.

Thanks for a great web site!

Tom Rogers
