Growing Up In Union City

As a boy growing up in Union City, NJ, PAP was the place to be. Every Tuesday dad, mom and us kids would go down to Kennedy Blvd. and wait for the Blvd. bus... the #1 bus. Oh, it had to have that little sign in the window that said PAP on it... or just take the #1 to Nungessers and eat at the white castle there till the PAP bus came. Yep, all us kids had to have our matchbox with the little pal at bottom to get in free... and the free ride tickets that you got out of the  D.C comic books... yep, I too wish I could have one more weekend at PAP just to show my kids!!

Thanks for the tears!!!
