Why I Cry

I am father, a man & a BIG boy. During the “60s” I remember as a child go to Palisades Amusement Park with my father. To me it was the world to me. Why I cry. I cry because all the children don’t have Palisades Amusement Park. I cry because my father is gone, the man who took Palisades Amusement Park. I cry because my son will not go to Palisades Amusement Park. I cry because people today think about money for a condo instead of Palisades Amusement Park. I cry because someday will come I will be a grand-father & my grand-children won’t have Palisades Amusement Park.

I say bring back Palisades Amusement Park so I can die smiling.
