THE RIDES OF PALISADES
Carousel (PTC model #69)
Description:  Palisades replaced the carousel, burned in the 1944 fire, with the PTC#69. Originally built in 1922, this machine stayed at Palisades for only one season before being replaced with the PTC#84.

Location: Center of park in a dome-shaped building.
Notes: The building for this carousel was designed by Joe McKee. It was made from cinder block and was 90' square. Around its perimeter were separate concessions.
